Activate ESIM
Follow these steps to activate an ESIM if you are having connection problems.
Keep in mind that the ESIM Profile may have to be pushed in order to receive the profile for use.
All ESIMs (As of 2-25-25) have a static IP address and can access the DS VM directly.
- Go to Settings>Network & Internet>Cellular
- On the top, make sure that eSIM is selected
- Click On eSIM Profiles and check the Default SM-DP Server Address
- If not already loaded, the address should be t-mobile.gdsb.net
- Next, hit Add Profile on the top of the menu then hit search for available profiles>next.
- The Computer will search for the eSIM profile on the network.
- Once added, hit activate to activate the network
- After the loading sequence is complete, you need to activate the static ip. Go to Cellular>Operator Settings>add APN
- In the window that pops up, enter the following information
- Profile Name: Static
- APN: b2b.static
- Leave Username, Password, and Type blank
- IP type is IPV4
- APN type: Internet and Attach
- Apply this profile: Checked
- Hit Save
