RingCentral Android User Permissions
Part 1: Give RingCentral the Right Permissions
✅ Step 1: Open Settings
Go to your Home Screen.
Tap on the Settings icon (⚙️).
✅ Step 2: Find Your Apps
Scroll and tap Apps (or Apps & notifications).
Tap See all apps if needed.
Find and tap RingCentral.
✅ Step 3: Set Permissions
Tap Permissions.

Tap on each of the following and select "Allow" or "Allow while using the app":
📞 Part 2: Use Your Cellular Line for RingCentral Calls
✅ Step 1: Open the RingCentral App
Go back to your Home Screen.
Tap the RingCentral app to open it.
✅ Step 2: Go to Settings Inside the App
In the app, tap the three lines (☰) or your profile picture in the top left or right.
Tap Phone Settings (or Calling depending on the version).
✅ Step 3: Choose Your Calling Mode
Tap Calling Mode (it may also be called Make & Receive Calls).
Select:
“Use carrier minutes”
(or it might say “My Mobile Carrier” or “Cellular Network”)
✅ This means calls will go through your regular phone line, not your Wi-Fi or mobile data.
✅ Step 4: Save & Exit
Tap Back or the checkmark if shown.
You're all set — RingCentral will now use your phone’s calling plan!
