RingCentral Flexdesk System
Hotdesk is a feature included in our RingCentral subscription that allows you to use a desk phone in any location as your personal phone.
When you log in, the phone will reboot and will function exactly like your phone, including the call queues and voicemail system, as if you are in your office.
This system is available at Flexdesks. If you see a yellow star on the phone, it means it is ready for you to use as a flexdesk.
To use this, follow the instructions below.
- Hit the login button on the phone
- You will be prompted to enter your extension number. Enter your full extension number and then hit the # key
- For example 10123 would be mine
- You will now be prompted to enter your PIN number. The PIN number is the same as your voicemail PIN number (minimum 6 digits) and then hit the # key
- If you have forgot your pin, you can reset it on the RingCentral App.
- The phone will reboot. Calls will now be routed automatically to the desk phone as if you are in the office.
The system will automatically log you out at night (10PM). If you want to log out earlier than that, follow the steps below
- On the phone, hit the three dots on the right side until you see the logout button
- You will be prompted, hit 1 to logout or hang up the phone to cancel.
- If you have logged out, the phone will reboot automatically.
